
Let’s make crack dip!
CRACK DIP!
Ingredients:

3 blocks (8 oz each) cream cheese

Juicy Jake’s Extra Juicy seasoning (generously applied)

1 package thick-cut bacon
-
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
-
1 cup mayonnaise
-
1 packet ranch seasoning (your favorite brand)
-
Chopped fresh chives (to taste)
Instructions:

Prep the Cream Cheese:
-
Score the tops of the cream cheese blocks in a crisscross pattern.

Generously coat all sides with Juicy Jake’s Extra Juicy seasoning.

Smoke the Cream Cheese & Bacon:
-
Place the cream cheese blocks in a smoker-safe pan or tray.
-
Set a wire rack above the cream cheese and lay the bacon across it.
(Pro Tip: This allows the bacon drippings to fall onto the cream cheese, adding flavor depth.) -
Smoke at 225°F for 1 hour.

Continue Smoking the Cream Cheese:

After 1 hour, remove the bacon and set aside.

Continue smoking the cream cheese for another hour (2 hours total for cream cheese).

Mix the Dip:

In a large bowl or smoker-safe pan, combine:

Smoked cream cheese (broken up and stirred)

3 cups shredded cheddar
-
1 cup mayonnaise
-
1 packet ranch seasoning
-

Mix well, then return to the smoker for 15 minutes at 225°F to allow flavors to combine and melt together.

Add the Finishing Touches:

Dice the smoked bacon.
-
Sprinkle the bacon over the top of the dip.

Garnish with chopped chives, to taste.

Serve with:
Crackers, chips, pita, crostini, or fresh veggies.
